I operate a mobile charity cafe and making lattes with drip coffee made the coffee too watery. This machine was revolutionary :) Making lattes outdoors without electricity, you can taste the deepness of the coffee. The design reminds me of a steamfunk and I'm very happy overall. I bought the rest of the accessories too.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR COFFEE
SPTK-1 allows baristas to exercise full control over the espresso extraction process. In addition to manual pressure control, baristas have full control over the temperature of water. With this newfound freedom, we suggest you customize your coffee by experimenting with limitless combinations of pressures and temperatures.
PRE-INFUSION FEATURE
SPTK-1 has a pre-infusion feature which allows you to gently soak the puck of ground coffee in your portafilter before applying full pressure. With this feature, you can ensure an even penetration of water throughout the entire bed before actual extraction begins.
MANOMETER FOR ACCURACY
With SPTK-1, you can observe the actual pressure applied to the portafilter during extraction, which is different from the pump pressure. While many commercial grade machines only display the pressure level of the pump, we decided to prioritize accuracy by installing a manometer to the machine itself. A tangible benefit of this decision is that it allows for more fine-grained profiling when extracting.
FOOD GRADE MATERIAL
The pump and stainless steel body included in your purchase are both composed of safe, food grade materials tested in a lab to ensure safety. Specifically, the body of SPTK-1 is made with 304 Stainless Steel which is ideal for kitchen and food applications. With CNC machining, the body undergoes a precise cutting process to ensure the highest quality.
