I’ve been using my SPTK38G for 1.8 years now and it has never let me down. I get super sweet espressos, maybe with slightly less pronounced clarity but pretty much always sweet (21-23 clicks range). I’ve used a resistor to slow the rpm down to about 70% and it never stalls even on espresso settings. You can adjust it over the detents for a half step ish for dialling in. It would be better if it was stepless but it works just fine. I’ve used it nearly every day 1-2 times/day without a single problem. It’s quiet, zero retention (with Rdt). Only thing is when using Rdt some of the beans in the hopper sometimes stick and don’t feed into the burrs. I just use a brush and give it a little wipe and then hit the bellows. Works great and I always get 30gin 30g out. I have the black and it looks great.

This grinder fits perfectly into my small espresso corner. Grind quality is best in class for sure, and I certainly prefer it over my hand grinder. Makes good pour overs as well.

Thus, the 24 V adapter sent by them was too weak in terms of power and could not grind roasted coffee for espresso. I locally changed this adapter with a 10A one and now it works fine. However, I still have an emotion because it seems to me that the central axis rotates eccentrically, not round. I hope it works like that. Fot this 2 reasons i gave it only 3 stars.

This is a magnificent grinder for improving your daily grind in the home. The included bellows make sure that you blow the last of the grinds out, and the slow grind speed provides a consistent grind. After hunting around this was the perfect upgrade for my home coffee system.
